About Us
Sarah and Rose are our managers here at The Moorings Hotel and their aim is to provide
a welcoming, personal service to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The Moorings Hotel first opened its doors as a Guest House in 1969, offering travellers
the opportunity to visit the market town of Sevenoaks. Since then, it has been a
recognised landmark amongst the locals, known for its excellent fish restaurant
and quality accommodation.
The fish restaurant has since gone, but the quality accommodation remains and we
work hard to ensure that standards are kept to their highest. The Moorings Hotel
is a family-run establishment and as such, much pride and care is taken in ensuring
that every guest leaves with a smile of satisfaction. Please read our
guest reviews
to see comments from our guests.
The Moorings Hotel in Sevenoaks is ideally located within close proximity of Sevenoaks
train station, offering high speed rail access into Central London and London Gatwick
Airport. In addition, we are well positioned for access onto the M25 and M23 motorways
with a direct route to Ashford International Station for Eurostar Services. We are
also ideally positioned for local visits to Brands Hatch Motor Racing Circuit, the
Biggin Hill Aerodrome as well as the beautiful Knole House and Deer Park, Chartwell
House (home of Winston Churchill) and Hever Castle.
